Best for
Compare two calendar dates in days and decimal weeks, for example when reviewing a trip or project interval. This is not an inclusive attendance count, and it does not distinguish months, weekends, public holidays, or the time zones of two locations.
How to use it
Choose the start and end dates; editing updates the result, and Calculate and Copy result are also available. The default spans 2026-01-01 to 2026-12-31. Reversing the dates still returns a positive interval rather than preserving which date comes first.
How to read the result
Days are the absolute difference between calendar-day numbers: identical dates give zero, adjacent dates give one. Weeks divide that figure by seven and display up to two decimals. This is not a whole-weeks-plus-days breakdown or an inclusive count of both endpoints.
Privacy and limits
Both dates are compared in the browser, without querying a scheduling service or creating calendar events. Copying puts the result in the local clipboard. Site analytics may still connect externally; be mindful of private itinerary information in anything you paste or share.
An absolute result cannot tell you which date is later, so keep the inputs available for checking. This is a date gap, not exact elapsed hours. Accommodation nights, inclusive billing periods, and formal deadlines may use different counting conventions and should not be treated as interchangeable.
