Quick guide

What can Sign PDF help you do?

Free PDF signing tool. Draw a handwritten signature and place it on a PDF page. No login and no upload.

Best for

Use this to place drawn handwriting as an image on one selected PDF page. It creates a visibly signed copy, but does not verify identity, use a signing certificate, or create a cryptographic digital signature that detects subsequent document changes.

How to use it

Choose a PDF, draw with a mouse or touch input, and enter a whole page number starting at one. Defaults are page one and bottom right; bottom left and center are also available. Clear to redraw, then place the signature and download.

How to read the result

The downloaded signed.pdf embeds the entire drawing canvas at a fixed 180 by 52 PDF points on the selected page. Empty canvas margins are not trimmed. Open the copy to check the page, position, handwriting size, and any overlap with existing content.

Privacy and limits

The PDF and drawing canvas are processed by pdf-lib in the browser; this code has no document or signature upload step. Processing first loads the library from cdn.jsdelivr.net. Treat both the handwritten image and the downloaded signed copy as sensitive material.

There is no drag positioning, signature resizing, or multi-page application. A small page may not accommodate the fixed placement, and encrypted PDFs may fail to load. The tool does not determine whether a recipient accepts image signatures; confirm their submission requirements separately.
