Best for
Use this for a city overview with current conditions, seven-day temperature ranges and an hourly temperature chart. The English page initially loads New York. Searching another name alone does not change the weather; choose a matching place from the suggestion list.
How to use it
Type a city, wait for suggestions, then check the country and region before selecting it. Alternatively, use location and respond to the browser permission request. Manual search remains available without location permission. Wait for loading to finish and verify the city shown in the result.
How to read the result
Temperatures are Celsius, wind is in km/h and visibility in km. UV is the daily forecast maximum. Dates, hours, sunrise and sunset use destination time. Missing readings appear as dashes; missing temperatures break the hourly line, and a chart without valid temperatures stays blank.
Privacy and limits
Search text goes to OpenStreetMap Nominatim, and weather coordinates go to Open-Meteo. Granting location access also sends coordinates to BigDataCloud for a place name. These services receive network requests; the widget does not save query history. Searching a city avoids sharing your precise device location.
Loading or failed weather requests hide the previous result; verify the city after loading succeeds. Dashes and an empty chart mean data is unavailable, not zero or good weather. Forecasts can change, and this overview is not an emergency warning system or a safety assessment.
